The 2007 Scenic West Athletic Conference softball champs are poised for a repeat in 2008, led by Head Coach Mary Kay Amicone. This will be Amicone's fourth season leading SLCC softball, which has only experienced success with her at calling the shots.

The SLCC baseball team finished its 2007 season with the best conference record and highest overall winning percentage in school history. They should be even better in 2008.

The SLCC volleyball team begins play for the 2007 season Aug. 24-25 in the annual College of Southern Idaho Tournament. CSI finished second in the Scenic West Athletic Conference in 2006 with a record of 8-4, just one game better than SLCC's conference record of 7-5.…
