Globe Student Media moderators use specific criteria, including the following guidelines, for determining if a comment should be shown on our site. If you want your voice to be heard, do so in a respectful manner using the following guidelines.
1. Our SLCC Student Code of Conduct states:
a. SLCC provides educational opportunities without regard to race, color, sexual orientation, national origin, age, gender, veteran status, religion, or disability.
b. SLCC is committed to maintaining the campus community as a place of work and study free from abuse, intimidation and harassment, where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
c. No member of the College community may sexually harass another.
2. Use of vulgar, suggestive or obscene language or cleverly disguised vulgar, suggestive or obscene language is not tolerated.
3. Make your comments in a civil and respectful manner. Name-calling, insults, and unfounded accusations will not be tolerated.
4. Report guideline violations to globe@slcc.edu. Do not reply to these comments.
