While the recent spotlight has been cast upon SLCC’s men’s soccer team and their 4-2 victory over the University of Utah at Rio Tinto Stadium, the Lady Bruins soccer squad has been shining in a light of their own. When most people think of a history teacher they probably remember Professor Binns from the Harry Potter books, a professor so dull he didn’t even realize he had died but continued teaching anyway as a ghost and succeeded in putting Harry and his friends to sleep. Last chance to catch Avatar on the big screen

On July 23, 2010 James Cameron announced to a sea of eager fans that August 21 would be known as Avatar Day. So on the 21st of August last year Fox respectfully seized as many IMAX and large format theaters to show fifteen minutes of footage to the public for free, a bold move in the marketing of this epic film. Exactly a year and six days later, Fox releases Avatar: Special Edition to the public in much the same way they did then. Full story
